It felt so good to finally run again! And it ended up being pretty good especially considering that it’s been a while since I’ve had a really good run - 2.25 miles, and I ran a mile straight at a 10:20 pace, woohoo!! :D
Went to the gym this afternoon to get in a little cardio before work. Since I’m hoping to run my next 5k in under 35 minutes, I calculated that I would need to run the entire 3.11 miles at an 11:20 pace to do so. So, I’ve been practicing building myself up to it and today I ran 2 miles straight at an 11:06 pace and did a total of 2.60 miles, with -290 calories!! Woohoo!! :) Can’t wait till I run the whole thing straight, it’s gonna feel so good when I’m done!

Being busy is NEVER an excuse not to workout - I’m insanely busy, and I make time for it, EVERY day. If it’s important to you, if you want it badly enough, you’ll make time to do it.
All of the treadmills were full when I got to the gym, so I hopped on the elliptical for 20 minutes. When I finished that, I finally got on the treadmill and ran a mile straight in 11:20, and finished it off with another mile. Total Calories burned: 428!!! :D SO proud of myself right now!! And I really can’t wait for my weigh in Friday, I hope it’s good!
