About me

As you can tell from my info section, I am a 19 year old, 5’8 sophomore in college. I have been doing this for a little over 3 months now, and I have lost 15 pounds. I have gone through periods in my life where I would commit to eating right and exercising, and they never stuck, but I’ve really gotten serious about it this time and I’ve stuck with it longer than ever because it’s not just about being a smaller jean size, it’s about changing my life and being the best version of myself possible. I started this partially because I had gained some weight when I started college, my lowest weight was 152 when I was a sophomore in high school around the time my parents separated, I was really depressed, and working out was the only thing that helped me forget - however, I let go of that as I let go of the pain and slowly moved my way up the scale. I didn’t quite gain the freshman 15, but I definitely got around 10 pounds. I also had a guy friend of mine tell me that although I was beautiful it wouldn’t hurt if I went to the gym more - and it doesn’t matter how shallow you know the guy is, or how much he had to drink before saying it, when a guy says something like that to you…it hurts. I am doing this for a lot of reasons, but every single one of them leads back to me - to how I feel, what I want, and being the best I possibly can be. And I am doing this the HEALTHY way, I am NOT starving myself, I am NOT making myself throw up, I am NOT working out to where it becomes a threat to myself - I AM eating healthier, I AM exercising often, I AM enjoying everything in moderation. My goal is to at least get to 145, but my ultimate goal weight is 140. I am a very open and honest person, so feel free to ask me anything, or share your stories with me - I’ve done just about everything fitness and health related at one point or another and I’m not afraid to answer any questions you might have. :)
